it's just—

another 3 AM & i feel like crying,

another 3 AM feeling unseen while trying.

another 3 AM with me befriending the dark,

another 3 AM after losing my inner spark.

another 3 AM with me without being heard,

another 3 AM with me letting down my guards.

another 3 AM with my numb eyes staring at the ceiling,

another 3 AM with me thinking all my wounds are healing.

another 3 AM with the stars knowing my secrets,

another 3 AM with me dying inside out of regrets.

another 3 AM after letting everyone hurt my heart,

another 3 AM with me falling and tearing apart.

another 3 AM with me letting tears fall into my pillow,

another 3 AM without a single moment I didn’t feel low.

another 3 AM with flashbacks of me giving my best,

another 3 AM with pains growing in my chest.

and the clock keeps blinking 03:00 like it’s mocking me.

still, it’s just—

another 3 AM with me being sleepless and wasting all my night.

another 3 AM with me thinking everything’s gon’ be alright.
